Summary: 2004 Healing Touch Challenge. Write an S/J story based on the premise there is this guy out there that can heal people with his touch and everybody wants a piece of him-so to speak. The only thing that must be in there is the part, subsituting Sam and Jack for the MX characters of course, where Sam begs the guy to heal Jack and give it to her. Other than that it could be completely original or follow the ep....but preferebly original.

Summary: 2004 Hidden Child Challenge. Sam has either a child or children that she has been hidding from Jack (and whoever else you decide). Hell, even Jacob might not know! Write a fic where Jack finds out! Whether it be at her house or what have you. Whether you want to limit the fic to just Jack finding out, or everyone who was left out of the loop is up to you. The latter being my preference with the majority of the emphasis on Jack though. The way I see this as being interesting and believable, is if the father (not Jonas!) has custody of the child/children. Sam and him still get along, but are not involved in any way anymore. She visits them when she can, and he knows that her job is extremely important, and extremely unpredictable! You pick the season (though sometime after Divide and Conquer would be extremely interesting)! Maybe even as far as season 7!!! Reasons for Sam keeping it a secret: My thinking is that at first she did it she didn't want to be treated any differently than men, and seeing as the airforce is a 'man's world' she thought it best. Another option is that she didn't want to be seen as an uncaring mother because she is at work so much because she really does love her child/children. And my last reasoning is that it was never meant to be a 'hidden' part of her, it just happened that way for awhile, and for whatever reason you come up with, Sam decided it was best to keep it low key. Or whatever other reason you come up with is fine.

Summary: 2000 Higher Rank Challenge. Due to services rendered to SG, the SGC and the world as a whole, Major Sam Carter is on the fast track and is soon is promoted to the rank of Colonel (or even higher!).
