Write a story or poem of any length, taking place between the scenes in _100 Days_ of Laira hearing Sam on the radio, and Laira talking to Jack. the Jack/Sam shippiness level's up to you.
BONUS points for:

* Laira/Jack friendship or shippiness
* metaphorical or philisophical ideas
* tell something about the history of Edora

Summary: 2006. It could be humorous to see Thornburg meet Jack in the 'real' timeline. Would he recognize him? If sam was with him? (or Teal'c with his tattoo?) After all, the major was interrogating jack, and in the real time, Jack ended up as the CO of one part of Cheyenne. A reunion of former personnel stationed there? at the Officer's club? somewhere?

2001. Ok, we know how it played out on teh show...sam got whumped and joe is off in aschen land (although Joe M. says he's not dead, so this is a good thing...maybe ). anyway what if this scenario played out.
jack didn't hack off kinsey so jack was with them. or jack said 'screw kinsey' and went anyway. Now i personally see jack radioing back to the base telling them to close the iris instead of just falling through like sam did. and i also see jack as the one repelling down instead of sam so...we have jack at the end of his rope and sam & joe on the harvester and all 3 of them marooned...gee...wonder what happens? how do they survive, do they get back home?
