Summary: 2003 Jacob's Secret Challenge.
1. Sam and Jack either start a serious romantic relationship, or they are already in one.
2. Jabob Carter reveals a seceret that he has never told anyone but it has to be revealed now that could change Sam's life forever.
3. Sam's mother returned from the dead fully alive. (It would be cool if it had something to do with oouterspace.)
4. There has to be a wedding. I do not care whose.

Summary: 2000 JAG Crossover Challenge.
I've been wondering about an SG/JAG crossover for awhile but my muse hasn't seen fit to inspire me to write it so I'm issuing the challenge.
* Some type of alien thing happens, military personnel are killed publically or otherwise- your choice, and JAG gets involved to find out what happened.
* The SGC is warned by someone- your choice whether alien or Tau'ri, Sam & Jack at least, others if you want, are dispatched.
* Jack has to realize his feelings for Sam because of her flirting with Harm or, if already involved, get really jealous of Harm. Doesn't have to be a happy ending and can be any rating you want. Not really going for humor...something dark and angsty would be great.

Summary: 2002 Jello Challenge. There was a VERY cute scene in Proving Ground where Jack and Sam were both eating Jello in the mess hall and talking about the new candidates for the SGC.
Write a fic. It must have Jello as one of the plot points. Doesn't matter if it's a G- rated story, NC- 17 that would make the manufacturers of Jello blush in shame, whatever. Extra points for silliness!

Summary: 2000 Jello Shots Challenge.
My challenge is that the SGC is hosting a party to celebrate the good relations between earth and other planets races (eg, Tokra, Tollan, Nox etc). The only thing that must be included is jello shots, lots and lots of them to welcome the 'aliens' to earth.
Extra points for:
- Martouf getting extremely drunk and ending up doing either something stupid and embarressing or hurting himself
- Sam and Jack romance (as opposed to just friendship/UST)
- Daniel dancing the tango on a table complete with rose in mouth.

Summary: 2001 Joe Challenge.
Since I read the spoilers re 2010 I've had some ideas buzzing round in my head and would love to see one of you talented writers out there turn it into a fic, so here goes:
After sucessfully sending the note Px whatever is blocked out of the Stargate computer so the future is changed, but what if Sam is still destined to meet this Joe guy?
What if she meets him when she is going through a really bad time struggling with her relationship with Jack, he laid himself on the line for her on a mission and was injured so wracked with guilt Joe seems Mr Nice guy and an easier and undemanding future (better for all concerned sort of stuff)
How would Jack react, what would he do to make sure that this time round Sam doesn't marry the Joe guy.

Summary: 1999 Killing Challenge. Write a story where Sam and/or Jack has to kill the other. Is it a virulent disease and Jack kills Sam in self- defence? Does the disease take over and Sam kills Jack because she's insane? Of course, it doesn't have to involve a disease, I'm just thinking out loud.

Summary: 1999 Kiss (Photo) Challenge. Write a story (short or long) that revolves around this kiss (http://www.samandjack.net/byrequest/challenges/images/holidaykiss.jpg) supposedly from the episode "Holiday". That's it! They can be in their correct bodies or not; drugged, dazed or confused; something they've always wanted to do or not; it can be a dream or a memory or reality; it can be a missing scene from an episode or a stand alone fic. The choices are endless!
The only request I make is that you try and make the kiss between * Sam * and * Jack * (not Daniel and Jack or Jack and Teal'c or Daniel and Sam or Sam and Teal'c in Jack and Sam's bodies).

Summary: 2006. During their time at the SGC, SG-1 have encountered some strange and sometimes scary things. Now, they are about to encounter something truly frightening - a *nice* Robert Kinsey.
Requirements
- Kinsey II is from an alternate reality. He is virtually the polar opposite to the Kinsey the team know and loathe; honest, friendly, a firm believer in the importance of the Stargate programme, practically President of the Jack O'Neill Fan Club, etc. He is also a romantic at heart and believes that a certain pair of characters are meant to be together, in fact, he was the one who persuaded the President to grant the Jack and Sam of his reality an exemption from the frat regs.
- Kinsey II matchmaking the regular universe Sam and Jack.
- An encounter between the Kinseys. Bonus if Kinsey II clobbers the nasty Kinsey.

Summary: 2000 Laira Or Sam Challenge.
My challenge is pretty vague, but for some reason Jack, Sam and Laira have been separated after a big explosion or something. Jack hears both Laira (who is v. pregnant at the time) and Sam calling to him (obviously hurt) from different directions. Who does he run to rescue? Laira, who is carrying his child at the time and who is less like to be able to defend herself... or Sam, his fellow friend, colleague and the woman we all like to think he harbors strong feelings for? Angst definitely required and he can choose either Sam or Laira... I'd love for someone to write a fic and include who he chose and the repercussions for that very choice.

Summary: 1999 Last Moments Challenge. All this talk about the goodbye scene from TBFTGOG got me thinking and I came up with a new challenge. Here it is. Write a vignette about what exactly happened between Jack and Sam between those few moments, what were they thinking and if more was said between them... what was it.

Summary: 2003 Left Behind Challenge.
Sam and Jack are involved secretly, but one mission went wrong and she gets left behind. 3 years later, they finally find her and she has a daughter. It's Jack's but he doesnt know it and on the inside he's a bit mad at her for sleeping with another guy.

Summary: 2003 Letters to Sam Challenge. When Jack was being held by Ba'al he wrote letters to Sam in his head. Now that he's been released he puts them down on paper (you decide whether he does it on his own or someone else forces him to) and gives them to Sam.

Summary: 2002 Loki Challenge.
Sam gets her own team, Scientific reasearch oriented. Certain members of her new team have contacts to the NID and/or Kinsey. As a ploy to keep her in contact with SG1 she is assigned by general hamond to "pretend" to have a relationship with Colnel O'Neill. Her entire relationship may be a ruse to figure out what is going on with NID or Kinsey interference in the SGC. possibly certain items of interest have gone missing on digs. You are the geniuses you figure out a plausible plot. Sam and Jack Must Get TOGETHER. They don/t have to get it on, but that is up to the author. CAn be set during Any season but Season 6 would make it more of a challange I havn't seen people writing Much for Corin Nemec.
It would be very neat if it couuld be a multipart Fic with many contributing authors.. I've only seen one other challange ever run that way and it was very interesting.
* Must include at least one dramatic life threatening situation.
* One Major catalist for some serious hanky panky.
* A good amount of verbal teasing between our favorite charachters
* And of course, A suspenseful moment when they are involved in eachother and must avoid either discovery or capture as a result.
& Avoid the Tok'ra or Aasgard coming to the rescue.
* and just for kicks, Throw in Loki, Norse God of Mischeif, as a Goa'ould.

Summary: 2002 Long Black Veil Challenge.
A song called Long Black Veil - Johnny Cash - A man is accused of a murder; witnesses 'saw' someone who looked just like him kill someone. The man is innocent; he was with a woman at the time, and by with I mean 'with'. The problem is that she's his best friend's wife, and (rather than break his friend's heart and ruin their marriage, I suppose) he allows himself to be executed for the murder he didn't commit. Adapt the song to SJ fic? (Execution not a requirement, of course)
