What beautiful ideas and sentiments. Building a new family while embracing Jack's son as part of it, and taking Jack's acceptance of what has happened to a healthier level - where the good things are remembered without crippling bitterness, regret, or pain. Thanks for coming up with this one. It is warm and charming.

I think this is the first story I've read that deals with the destruction of Abydos, the wedding thing, and talking to Sam about the torture. Being right at the end of the season I guess most people think of closure rather than the cans of worms that still need to be dealt with. Anyway, thanks. I really like the ending where "usually not overly communicative "Jack says, "Sam, we need to talk." That in itself speaks volumes. Thanks again.
